About the Event
The John A. Widtsoe Foundation is deeply committed to elevating dialogue between members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and other religious communities. In this pre-recorded podcast and video series, Robert Millet will host a monthly conversation with three Christian scholars: Mark Maddix a Nazarene Wesleyan scholar, Peter Huff, a Catholic Scholar, and Craig Blomberg, an Evangelical Scholar. Each month, Millet will draw from the Come, Follow Me New Testament curriculum to help listeners gain a deeper appreciation for New Testament passages and the beliefs we share (and sometimes differ on) with members of each of these Christian denominations.
The next podcast release date is June 10, and Brother Millet will be joined by Roman Catholic guest Peter Huff. The pair will discuss Catholic and Latter-day Saint perspectives on Gethsemane from the New Testament Come, Follow Me curriculum in June, as found in Luke 22 (corresponding with CFM 6/12-18)
This podcast will be available on Junev10th on our Podcast page for download or listening.
The pre-recorded video of this event will also be available on YouTube on June 10th.
